Apart from all the game this park is renowned for it’s small lion population which roam free and hunt for themselves is really the main attraction. The vehicles drive right into the lion enclosure, for a close up view of the king of the beasts. Not for the faint hearted. Schotia is also home to zebra, blesbok, eland, gemsbok, wildebeest, red hartebeest, reedbuck, impala, bushbuck and duiker. After your game drive you can wander around, look at crocodiles and then have a wonderful African meal under the stars in the bushveld. The price includes your pick up and drop off at the hostel, a 3-4 hr game drive with a field guide and your luxury African meal in the lapa around the camp fires plus all your drinks.
